From the very moment I first met Olivia, it was as if I was meeting with a friend for coffee. She has the BEST laugh ever & I loved learning about her love story. How she met Moe, their wedding day plans and how their two cultures would come together to create a gorgeous celebration! Surrounded by their close family & friends, they had a beautiful wedding day. Two beautiful cultures coming together to create a beautiful family- this is why I LOVE photographing weddings!
Thank you to San Antonio Weddings for featuring their wedding day. You can check out the article here!
I love this getting ready photo. Olivia got ready at Hotel Contessa in downtown San Antonio. Such a pretty hotel!
Olivia had her two sisters & Moe’s two sisters as her bridesmaids.
Olivia wanted to make sure Moe also had a special moment with his mom too. So we set up a first look for the two of them. I thought this was such a sweet moment!
We almost didn’t think we would have enough time for a daddy daughter first look. I knew it was so important to Olivia though, so as soon as I saw dad, I set him up for his first look with his daughter. This happened about 5 to 10 minutes before the ceremony was about to start, but honestly it was soooo worth it.
Their first Mr. & Mrs. hug! Loved this moment.
Family formals are up next.
The weather in January was so perfect! It was a sunny, chilly day, but not cold at all!!
Love this!! Moe’s groomsmen came up with this idea & I’m so happy they did!
I think I will forever swoon over Moe & Olivia’s bride & groom portraits.
A fave of mine!
Another fave!
Never mind. They are all my faves.
I just love downtown weddings SO MUCH!
Why don’t I photograph on the riverwalk more often??? I love it.
I may have done a really loud “woo hooo!!!” to get the tourists to cheer along with me!
HEB Blooms always does an amazing job!
Now let’s move on to their gorgeous reception.
It was my first time photographing at Rio Plaza & I can’t wait to go back!!!
I loved all of the natural window light.
I also loved that it was right in the middle of downtown. Really easy access to the riverwalk & restaurants.
First dance after dinner was so sweet.
Daddy daughter first dance was emotional & heartwarming.
Moe & his mama danced together
& then dad decided to join in! Then Moe’s little brother joined in! It was so cute!!
Cake time
Rio Plaza has the prettiest outdoor area. I absolutely loved the city view & the stringed lights gave it that romantic touch. I knew we had to go out there for their bride & groom night time portraits.
Back inside for more dancing!
Thank you Moe & Olivia for picking Cupcake. I loved working the two of you! May you live a life of love & happiness.
