I am so excited to share JB & Sara’s wedding day! Their wedding was so sweet, a perfect start to our 2017 wedding season.
JB & Sara were high school sweethearts & have been together for the past 13 years. You can imagine what a wonderful day it was for the two of them & their families. We had a great time working with the two of them. They are such a fun couple & they balance each other out perfectly. So many personal details were shown throughout their day, it really made their day extra special. From their Japanese candy bar (JB proposed in JAPAN!!) to their beautiful invitations. Velvet ribbons & the prettiest blue that decorated their venue. I loved, loved, loved all of their details!
That velvet ribbon y’all. I’m obsessed.
I am obsessed with their invitation stationary! Really set the tone for their January wedding in the hill country.
While I am with the girls, Ivan is working with the guys. That flask tho? Question is, where can I find one!?? 🙂
Quiet moments with mom.
My brides have been loving the first look with their dad & of course, I love it too!
So sweet!! Next time I photograph a wedding, I’m totally bringing along a box of tissues!
I love taking the opportunity before a ceremony to take photos of family & bridal party- all without the bride & groom seeing each other. This is especially wonderful for Fall & Winter weddings, when the sun goes down quicker.
Sara & her family
As we snuck Sara back inside the bridal suite, we brought out JB & his family! Lots of photos all before the ceremony even began! Yay!
Seriously, LOVED this moment!!!
Mr. & Mrs. EVANS!!!
Had such a hard time narrowing down their bride & groom portraits, here are just a few of my faves!
The sun decided to come out & say hello.
I love this picture!
We love working at The Springs. Such a beautiful venue! I think every time we shoot a wedding here, I tell Ivan the same thing- “why couldn’t this venue be open when we got married??” That’s how much I love it!
The cakes by 2Tarts were SO GORGEOUS & tasty too! 😉
& of course we were HUGE fans of JB’s Groom’s cake! If you know us, you know we love our Maker’s Mark Whisky.
I love that they added something special & sentimental to their wedding! Japanese kit kats! How cool is that? I’m just sad I didn’t get to try one! 😦 I’ll have to go look for them … in JAPAN (hint hint Ivan).
Party time y’all! Let’s do this!!
This was such a funny moment during the toasts! Sara’s sister presented JB with the gate code. FINALLY!
So happy for you JB! Lol!!
Love this moody black & white of JB & his mama!
Always ready to capture those special moments! Hahah!! 😉
I loooove this photo of JB & the flower girl! So cute.
Sara & her grandpa, priceless memories.
How cute is their cake topper!? Loved it!
Bouquet toss & Garter toss!
When the groom plans a special dance for his bride! Lol! This wedding was just full of laughter & hilarious moments, can you tell? It was seriously so much fun!
Now let’s get back to dancing!
I love that Sara & JB decided to go with glow sticks for their send off! So fun & the guests loved it. Looking for more non-traditional send off ideas? Go here.
Bye y’all! Enjoy your honeymoon cruise!
Blogging this wedding just reminded me of how much F U N we had that day. That’s the best feeling ever! When you are able to leave working a wedding & say, “I’m tired, but that was a BLAST!” Thank you Sara & JB for a beautiful wedding day. We loved working with the two of you.
