This was our first time photographing a brunch wedding & let me tell you, it was AMAZING! Ceremony began at 11am, brunch was served at 12pm, with an omelette station, waffle bar, mimosas & other goodies. They had a bubble exit at 4pm & we were able to take advantage of the beautiful golden sunset for bride & groom portraits. It was a perfect day filled with love, happy tears & delicious food!
The first time I heard from Amber, I was a few weeks from my due date. As soon as I realized they were having a brunch wedding on December 31st, I knew I needed to shoot their wedding! We kept trying to make arrangements for an online consultation given that Amber currently lives in Oklahoma with her fiancé Brady. Well, we finally picked a time & a date. Next thing you know, I was in labor & our consultation was the NEXT day. So there I was at 2am, sending an email to Amber, “Crazy story. I’m in labor!” Yes, you read that right, I was writing an email to Amber at 2am, during my contractions. She probably thought I was nuts when I sent her a text the next day, making sure she received my email. Lol! Well when we finally had the opportunity to talk, we hit it off & it was like we were old friends. I am so grateful to have such wonderful brides!!
Everything about Amber & Brady’s wedding was beautiful. From her Badgley Mischka heels to her Watters wedding gown. The bridesmaids each wore their own choice in gold dresses & the groomsmen wore classy navy blue suits. Loved everything about their day.

Y’all know how much I love getting ready photos. Most of my brides decide to take getting ready photos & they are so worth it. The photos you get to take with your mom, sisters, friends, loved ones before the ceremony are priceless.
A sweet moment with Amber & her mama.
Brady sent over a hand written letter to his bride to be. So sweet!
Finishing touches before Amber becomes a MRS!
While I’m working with the girls, Ivan is working with the guys …

PARTY BUS!! No, really the inside was pretty awesome! It was all decked out. Amber & Brady had this party bus transfer guests to their reception hall.
I absolutely love working at Canyon Springs Golf Club! I still can’t believe it was cloudy & drizzly in the morning & by the time their ceremony was over, the sun came out and we had the most amazing weather!
Love this beautiful family!

Speeches + toasts
Amber’s dad gave such a beautiful speech. I STILL cannot stop thinking of it. At the end of his speech, he mentioned that ever since she was a little baby, they would pray for her to find a loving spouse in the future. I just about lost it. I kept it together though. Thankfully.
This band was AMAZING! I highly recommend them; ‘Now We Fly’.
Can we talk about this cake for a minute?
& my only regret of the day is not being able to try one of these cinnamon rolls. Lol! They looked so good! 😦
This cracked me up. During the bouquet toss, none of the ladies wanted the bouquet! Lol!!
These lovelies were good sports though & took one for the team! Haha!!
With one hand, he caught that garter!
How precious & beautiful is she!!
Bubble exits have my heart!
Time for their bride & groom portraits. Yay!
A beautiful couple in front of a waterfall? Am I in Hawaii? Naw, I’m in Texas y’all! 😉
Why are y’all so beautiful!?? Can’t even deal.
Wasn’t too sure about putting them in this light, but I’m happy I did because these came out soooo pretty!
This one is like, what!? Love it.
Once Amber & Brady were finished taking their bride & groom portraits, they were ready to meet all of their friends in Downtown San Antonio. What a great way to end the year!
Thank you Amber & Brady for a wonderful wedding day. We had so much fun working with the two of you & your amazing families. We wish you a lifetime of love & happiness.
