Earlier during the week, the forecast said there was an 80% chance of rain for Abraham & Karen’s Saturday wedding. As the week progressed though, the chance of rain gradually became less & less. Well Saturday turned out to be a gorgeous day, without a cloud in the sky. They started their wedding day by sharing vows, then we were off to the Capitol of Austin for bride & groom portraits. Once we arrived to their reception at the beautiful Texas Old Town, we took advantage of the last of the light for even more bride & groom portraits.
We loved working with Abraham & Karen! My husband & I have known Abraham for a while already. He was actually at our own wedding 6 years ago. It was so special that we were able to photograph the start of his very own family. Karen is a wonderful compliment to Abraham.
Their wedding day was lovely. Pink, gold & cream filled their reception venue, with the prettiest details.

Sweet details at their ceremony…
Ready to walk down the aisle. I love capturing the groom at the moment he sees his bride for the first time.
YAY! Mr. & Mrs. Hernandez!
First kiss as husband & wife
Family formals …
Abraham’s parents & family
Karen’s parents & family
I love capturing those moments when my couple thinks, I’m not paying attention to them. I am 😉
On our way to the Capitol, we pulled up to a red light and these two ladies couldn’t help but congratulate Karen & Abraham! It was too funny. They were so excited for them!!
Karen & Abraham really wanted to take photos at the Texas Capitol. So we made our way there for a few Bride & Groom portraits, before making our way to their venue.
That light was glorious!
Love this one!
That light! :O
Being that it was February, it was just a tad chilly, so we took a few photos in the sunshine to warm them up. Full sun portraits means a romantic hazy glow.
Another favorite of mine!
That ring though! 😉
We headed over to Texas Old Town & took advantage of the last of the light. These are some of my favorites. At this point, the guests were inside their venue. They had that opportunity to take more beautiful portraits & spend some time together before heading inside.
This is just gorgeous!!
Beautiful you two!!
Karen, you were a gorgeous bride.
Those little details…
& we can’t forget about the groom. You looked nice too Abraham!!
I have worked at Texas Old Town several times, but this was our first time working at the Red Bud Hall. The grounds of course are amazing!
I have to thank my amazing 2nd shooter (aka my hubs!) for these beautiful reception photographs. Thank you honey 😉
Loved their centerpieces & color scheme. So pretty!
Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Hernandez!!

Thank you so much Abraham & Karen for picking us to photograph your special day! I LOVED working with the two of you & your wonderful families.
