Favorite wedding moments of 2015

If you didn’t know already, I LOVE WEDDINGS!!! Every single detail that goes into a wedding day, is so incredibly special to me. It’s not just the details though. Of course, I swoon over your beautiful wedding cakes and those cute little favors you spent hours over, but do you know what really makes my heart beat just a tad quicker? The moments. The moments are everything to me! When your mama wipes away a tear as she ties the sash on your dress or when your daddy sees you for the first time in your wedding dress. When your soon to be husband, has the greatest smile on his face when he sees you walk down the aisle. When you glance at each other during your ceremony & you can’t contain your smile. (Okay, that rhymed & I didn’t even plan it. Lol!) Those moments are so important to me. When I photograph a wedding, I really try my best to step into my bride’s shoes. I want my couples to be able to relive their entire day, just by looking at their photographs.

Every wedding I have photographed has a special place in my heart. I can recall any wedding I have photographed, as if it were yesterday. Many of my past brides, have become some of my most greatest friends. I guess that’s what happens when you book me, you gain a friend too (whether you like it or not! lol!) 😉

It’s been quite a year 😉

We had our first destination wedding in Cancun, Mexico. From outdoor ceremonies to hotel ballroom receptions. San Antonio to Austin. Peonies & Roses. Barefoot & heels. Champagne & tequila shots.

The weddings that I photographed this year have been absolutely GORGEOUS. I thank God every day for being able to work with the sweetest, most down to earth brides ever.

To my 2015 couples, thank you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for choosing me to photograph such a special time in your lives. You have no idea how much joy it gives me to go back & look at your photos. It’s been an incredible year. I love all of y’all so much! I wish you nothing but a lifetime of love & happiness.

To my amazing husband & wonderful 2nd shooter, thank you. Thank you for being my biggest cheerleader. Thank you for listening to me & loving me. I have truly enjoyed watching your photography grow & evolve. I love you.

Missing from this post are my awesome friends, Xilma & Mario. I photographed their gorgeous wedding in Austin, Texas back in May. They preferred for their photographs to not be posted on social media or the blog, even though I begged & complained 😛 Lol. They did allow for me to put their photos on my website though. You can find their wedding day slideshow here.

Also, I didn’t have the privilege of photographing Harolyn & Jeremy’s actual wedding day, but when they contacted me for their bride & groom portraits, I was more than excited!  I added their beautiful photos in this post as well!

I tried to give myself a limit on how many photos I posted today, and then I was like, yea, that’s not gonna happen! Haha!  I even added a couple of behind the scenes photos 😉

So enjoy these beautiful photos of my 2015 couples. They aren’t in any particular order, I love them all equally 🙂 Enjoy!
