Favorite portraits of 2015

It has been an AWESOME year for Cupcake. If I can imagine exactly how I would want Cupcake to run & represent, this will be the year I will always look back on.

I had so much fun working with everyone on their family, graduation, baby bump & anniversary sessions! I love, love what I do. Y’all know that. I say it all the time 🙂

When I look back at these photos, I love how my work has evolved. I hear it frequently from friends & family who have been following my work, my progress for years, that my work really has changed from when I first started. GOOD! I would hate to be the type of photographer that didn’t push myself to be the best that I can be. I would consider myself a competitive person, do you know with who? With myself. I believe in this 100%. This year, I made sure to never compete or compare with the photographer next to me. It’s me vs. myself. What can I do to get better? With every photo session? With every client interaction? How can I make sure their session is one they will remember for years to come.

I loved working on these portraits & all of them have a special place in my heart. I wanted to share a few of my favorite portraits of the year. They aren’t in any particular order, they are all my faves. Enjoy the pretty pictures 😉

Thank you to my wonderful Cupcake clients for an amazing year. I’m so grateful that you picked me to photograph such special memories, for that I am incredibly thankful. Love you all & I hope to see you again in the near future 🙂
