As soon as I saw Cynthia walk into Local Coffee to meet me, earlier this year, the first thing I thought was, “Oh my. I love her shoes!” That’s when I knew we would be a great match. You girls know how much I love shoes! Haha! 😉
If you have ever had a consultation with me for a wedding day, you know I love asking how you & your sweet-heart met. That is pretty much, one of the first questions I ask, before getting into the details of photographing your wedding. Well, one of the things I remember, was that, Cynthia could not stop smiling. Her face lit up when she talked about Trevor. She smiled ear to ear as she told me the story on how they first met and what she loved about him.
After their engagement session, I knew exactly why she was smiling so much that day. Trevor is a true gentleman, he held her hand walking down the rocky pathway, hugged her close, & couldn’t take his eyes off of her. You could tell how much he loves her, just by the way he looks at her. They are wonderful together! Working with Cynthia & Trevor during their engagement session was a dream. Not only are they beautiful together, but their chemistry as a couple is evident.
We loved working with Cynthia & Trevor on their wedding day! Their wedding day was absolutely stunning. From the bridesmaids dresses, to the bride’s pink peony (AH!) bouquet! Surrounded by family & friends, their ceremony was held at the courtyard at the La Mansion Del Rio, located in downtown San Antonio. Couldn’t help but smile & squeal when I walked into the ballroom, where their reception would take place. Seriously, I’m such a girly girl, whatever! 😉 Their reception held at the Iberian ballroom, filled with shades of pink! Peonies, lace, pink! I mean, really? Can it get any better?
Check out their wedding day slideshow HERE!
First time working at La Mansion del Rio, and hopefully not my last! Seriously, loved! Trevor & Cynthia’s entire wedding day was held at the same location. Including, getting ready, ceremony & reception.
Stopped at Cynthia’s bridal suite to take a few photographs of her getting ready. Y’all know how much I love those detail photos. I always recommend for my brides to take getting ready photos, really ties in your entire wedding day story, always helps you get comfortable in front of the camera.
While I was photographing Cynthia’s GORGEOUS details (that dress tho), I snuck back and forth with Aubrey while she was finishing the final touches on Cynthia’s makeup.
Love these photos of Cynthia’s mama zipping her daughter into her dress.
Loved working with Cynthia’s bridesmaids. Nothing is sweeter than a great group of girls around you on such an important day!
Since we had some time before heading downstairs to the ceremony, I wanted to make sure to get a few photos of Cynthia by herself. Adore these.
One of my faves!
Since we were on the balcony overlooking the riverwalk, we had so many tourists stop & snap a photo themselves!
Courtyard at La Mansion
Nothing like a groom seeing his bride for the first time. So sweet!
Great shot overlooking the entire patio, thanks to my 2nd shooter + hubs, Ivan!
Didn’t even notice him up there, he was like a ninja! 🙂
My view on the left & Ivan’s view on the right! Love it!
Yay! Mr. & Mrs. Balusek!!!
Look at those smiles! Hehe!
LOVE when my grooms surprise their brides with a little mid aisle kiss!
It’s so wonderful to have your grandparents present on your wedding day.
On the left are Trevor’s grandparents and on the right, Cynthia’s grandparents.
It was a very hot, June afternoon, but the bridal party were all smiles, including the little ones!
Bride & Groom portraits…
Yes, Cynthia, you are gorgeous!
Another favorite of mine!
No, this one is my favorite…
Okay, these are my favorites…
Never mind, I love them all! Lol!
Power Sounds DJ was awesome!!!
After the daddy/daughter dance & the mother/son dance, Cynthia & Trevor invited their grandparents for a dance of their own. Omg, that was just the sweetest EVER!!!
Cynthia’s grandma & grandpa…
Trevor’s grandma & grandpa…
While I’m photographing grandma & grandpa, Ivan photographed this super sweet moment between Cynthia & Trevor. When I came across this photo editing, I got a little teary eyed. I LOVE IT!!
Time for cake!
At the end of the night, we gathered Cynthia’s family for a family portrait, this is what a family is all about. Craziness!!! I’m sure we can all relate!
I will end this post with these two photos of C&T. Is there anything more romantic than an elevator shot? I don’t think so 😉
Thank you again Cynthia & Trevor, for picking me to photograph your day! Ivan & I had such a great time! It was a privilege to work with the two of you & your wonderful family & friends!
